Good food, especially if you enjoy Indian and/or you are vegetarian. We came with friends on their recommendation. They've eaten here before and love it. We all chose the buffet but could have had something off the menu. I enjoyed the lentils and the chicken-rice dish. Also there was a spicy cabbage selection that was excellent. There were some breads that did not contain wheat, which is a good choice for people watching a gluten diet. Overall, the food was very tasty and I enjoyed the meal. The reason I didn't give a full five star rating is the decor and ambience. The place is dark, very casual, and doesn't have an updated decor. Drab, dark carpeting, nothing special, but many people keep coming back. It's the food and the low prices that attract the customers.

Kind people, tasty food.. Real food. Tastes homemade and it's delicious!! Ambience is relaxing, not what I have read in last reviews.

My review is based on food only since I got take out. Although, it was ready when they said it would be. For the price I guess I expected more. If I was sitting in the restraunt and someone said waiting on me...I wouldn't have minded. It was however delish!! I got the curry chicken hot. My bill came to $13 plus tip. I just wish there was more! I was excited when I saw the container, I thought it would be full, and it was. With sauce. Also, I'm not a huge fan of dark meat...and it is mixed.

Best Indian food I have ever had, period. I came here for dinner on New Year's Eve and had an incredible meal. It had been about 5 years since the last time I have been out (we live out of town), but last night we found ourselves hungry and in the mood for Chicken Korma. Service was great (so friendly and accommodating) and the place is really, really clean. Highly recommend. Good for kids too!

Chicken tikka masala was delicious. Loved the crispy onions on the navratan korma and the sauce was yummy although I found the veggies to be a bit overcooked. Spicy was medium-hot in my opinion. We enjoyed our meal very much and would definitely recommend.

This place is still close to tops in southeast Florida. No exaggeration. Today, though, was a huge let down. No naan. Small selection. Even the water tasted bad. Used to be by far my favorite place in the world to eat.

The buffet was average. The Naans were cold, chilli chicken had barely any chicken, and rice seemed old. The goat curry was the only exceptional product. The food was mainly vegetarian based, it seemed stale. The service was really good, we know the black Jamaican guy that works there. He is really friendly, but I felt like he was hovering above us.

Just checked this place out for the first time. Delicious food. Amazing buffet that changes every day. Staff and owner were so friendly. Authentic North and South Indian food!

This is was one of my first and still one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Although they might be a spicier than the others in the area, their food is always consistent and the service is always fantastic. They've recently expanded their lunch buffet selection to include chai tea, mixed grill, a new variety of rice, and a new type of naan bread as well. For my money, I think they currently have the best lunch buffet among the many Indian restaurants in Palm Beach.

Pay no mind to the humdrum decor, you're here for the food! This is a low-key, no frills type of joint with what I consider to be excellent Indian soul food. Delicious, filling, yet remarkably light, just the way I like it. Wifey and I ordered onion bhaji, a plain dosa (rice and lentil crepe stuffed with potatoes and onions), aloo mutter, chapati, and tandoori Roti (sans butter), and two drinks, all for under $40. (Check out my pictures.) That is just awesome, IMO. The service was great. Our waiter was helpful, and he even allowed us to stay after lunch hours to finish our meal while the crew prepared for dinner. A+ for hospitality! The India Palace is the perfect place to visit if you really want to absorb Indian culture. After eating yummy food, one can visit the specialty supermarket located right next door (called India Bazaar) to pick up some goodies / souvenirs. It's a great way to kill a couple of hours! I will be returning for sure. (Note: Their buffet has vegan / vegetarian options.)

This is the best Indian food I have eaten in years. The warm pappadums were accompanied by delicious relishes, and the service was excellent. I had a quick meal there on a Thursday night, as I was craving spicy food. I chose the black Dal Makhni and Bindi Masala with pullao rice. I accompanied it with onion raita and garlic nan. There was lots to take home and enjoy later. Everything was superb. Per my dietary preference I chose from the extensive vegetarian menu. The ambiance is underwhelming but the food is to die for!

A little pricey but very good food. Good customer service. I would highly recommend Taste of India which is less then 5 miles away on the same street because is a more upscale restaurant with better prices.

I have to update my review - I have been back several times for the lunch buffet and have found my previous experience to be the exception - not the norm. The staff are very kind and the food is quite good. I generally go on Fridays when the buffet has some great dishes including an okra dish, lamb, and gulab jamun! Their masala chai is pretty good too! :)

Fresh, tasty Indian food. The owner is so nice and will help with recommendations and answer questions. They have excellent lunch buffets and give everyone a personal welcome.

Went there for lunch buffet which is 9.99. I love Indian food. Been to many places and this was my first time here. After reading reviews on here I went. The service was good and friendly. That is where my favorable impression ended. Food was cold. Food had no taste. They made it spicy, but no flavor. Selections of food were limited and everything tasted the same. In addition. All the meat dishes (2) had bones in them. I thought I was going to break a tooth. Do not recommend.

This place is the old 'Taste of India'. Located in a Plaze on the South side of Okee. Small, hole in the wall. Food was good. Nothing to write home about. We ordered the Samosa's (I prefer meat samosa's).The cheese Masala Dosa was plain, no herbs, and bland. The Butter Chicken and Tandoori were good. We also ordered an excellent grilled chicken w/ herbs that bursted w/ fresh flavors. That chicken just about made the meal. And of course the Naan was good. I am also a fan of the chicken tikka masala. They also offer a lunch buffet but I prefer to go for a very casual dinner. Throughout the times that I go and they recognize you and you specify if you want mild or hot.... they do it! Also, the lamb Biryani is a great dish!

I found this place on a whim a few years ago when I was looking for Indian food. The portions and prices are good. We eat here at least once a month.

Well, I'm a little spoiled on Indian food as I lived there for a while but this place is okay. It's not what I expected, the chicken korma was made from a different type of curry and lacked that earthy red color as well as some of the flavor. However, it does the trick if your in the mood and the service was excellent. The owner came by and made sure we were taken care of which is always nice. I'll have to go back and check out the buffet...

I used to frequent this place a lot when it was the "Taste of India" which I would have given 5 Stars. Since the new owners took over the quality took a dive, since they lost the original cooks, managers, and wait staff. I still will visit the place when I am in town to see how things are. The Tika Masala is still good and so is the Vindaloo, but luckily knowing the owner, I can get it made to my specifications. Also, it looks like two reviews are plugs for some other Indian Restaurant, I would ignore those and at least give this place a try.

Best Indian food in Florida as far as I'm concerned. I've lived here for a year now, and had yet to find a place that serves good Indian food. The restaurant itself is tiny, and a total hole in the wall, but I'm there for the food, so it's fine by me. The service was great, and it was very well priced. I'll be going back soon,

As everybody said, it was called Taste of India before but now it is India Palace. I visited the place few times last month with my collegue. The food was excellent. Especially the fish curry in the buffet and the malabar fish curry in the dinner menu was very good. Check it out!
